Support the Enlisted Project (STEP) helps active duty military and recently separated veterans when financial hardship and crises result in the inability to sustain crucial living expenses. Established nearly a decade ago, the San Diego based nonprofit uses financial grants to help struggling families deal with such critical needs as emergency food purchases, essential baby items and auto repair.
